The International Journal of Practice-based Learning in Health and Social Care has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
The database delivers a comprehensive overview of the world’s research output in science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and the arts and humanities.
The journal was evaluated for inclusion in by the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) in May 2019. The overall evaluation looks at aspects including:
- Journals with scientifically-sound articles that are relevant to international academic and professional audiences
- Journals with scholarly relevance as evidenced by citations in other journals currently covered by Scopus
- Well-written and articles which are consistently of high academic quality, consistent with the journal’s stated aims
The journal will undergo the Scopus indexing process, meaning that articles published in the journal will be easily discoverable.
