The National Association of Educators in Practice is pleased to announce that Dr Lois Meyer has been appointed as books review editor for the International Journal of Practice-based Learning in Health and Social Care.

Dr Meyer brings a wealth of experience and insight to the role. She is currently Associate Dean of Postgraduate Coursework in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales, with oversight for the educational quality, innovation and sustainability of postgraduate courses.
This role includes responsibility for more than 1,000 students in clinical and public health disciplines. Dr Meyer is also a senior research fellow, providing curriculum development and teaching health leadership to clinicians undertaking postgraduate degrees.
Lois has created successful, innovative programs including a multidisciplinary work-based professional doctorate for health professionals that has global candidates undertaking practitioner-led scholarship in diverse health service contexts.
Her research interest is at the nexus of health professional education, learning and career trajectories and she is currently conducting several longitudinal research projects in this area.
